Danas je Općinski načelnik primio mail i Deklaraciju mira od Direktora Manabu IWASAKI, Sekretarijat Načelnici za mir Hiroshima:  

"Dear Mr. Sisic, Let me express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support for the activities of Mayors for Peace. Today, the 65th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, Mayor Akiba of Hiroshima delivered this year's Peace Declaration at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Ceremony. Please find attached copy of the Peace Declaration in PDF file for your reference.
