The Decision No: 01-V-68/96 of 7 May 1996 on the transformation of the institution of the National University into a public institution.

BACKGROUND:
In the previous period 104 books have been published, 78 art exhibitions were set, 11 roundtables and scientific meetings were held, and more than 200 literary evenings and about 50 public lectures were also held; it was carried out the initation on protection and restoration of the monuments and initiated the establishment of three annual cultural events and the great efforts have been done to maintain the demonstration of the films to 2001. It was purchased about 10. 000 books for the Library.
