He was born on 23 May 1964 at Zavidovići where he completed his primary and secondary technical school.
The Higher Technical School, Department of Protection and Direction of the Civil Protection he completed in Novi Sad and became an engineer for civil protection. The Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Defense and Security he completed in Sarajevo.
He passed the following professional exams:
- The professional exam for the work in the administration;
- The professional exam for the manager of the action of fire-fighting;
- The professional exam for the responsible person in the agencies for protecting people and property.
From 1988 to 2009 he worked in the IP Krivaja Zavidovići as the Head of the Service for preventive activities.
On 1 December 2009 he was appointed the Deputy Municipal Chief in the Service of the Civil Protection of the Municipality Tešanj.
He is married and father of one child.
Within the service since January 2005 also acts the Professional Fire Brigade Tešanj

In the conditions of natural disasters the Municipal Headquarters of the Civil Protection activates itself as a professional and operational authority for managing the actions to protect and rescue people and property.
