On the basis of Article 13 of the Statute of the Municipality Tešanj (Official Gazette of the Municipality
Tešanj No. 1/03 and 8/04) and Article 80 and 82 of the Rules on the Operation of the Municipal Council Tešanj
(Official Gazette of the Municipality Tešanj No. 1/03, 1/04 and 8/04), the Municipal Council Tešanj at its
16th session held on 27 February 2006 adopted the R E S O L U T I O N ON AMENDING THE VISION OF THE
MUNICIPALITY TEŠANJ AND THE MISSION OF THE LOCAL ADMINISTRATION THE VISION OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF TEŠANJ Tešanj 2010 – the centre of environmental awareness, cleanliness and order. The realization of this this Vision will be guided by the municipal administration together with entrepreneurs, NGOs
and all citizens with clear plans on an annual basis that will define specific objectives, activities, carriers and the means
for achieving the vision. THE MISSION OF THE LOCAL ADMINISTRATION OF TEŠANJ Accepting the driving and integrative role in achieving the vision for the development of Tešanj, the municipal
administration will improve its work and resources to be: • PRIMARILY IN THE SERVICE OF THE CITIZENS, solving their problems and acceptance of their initiatives.
That, first of all, means: • Improving the EFFICIENCY, both in terms of faster, better, more available, cheaper and services with
decentralized organization and simplified procedures adapted to the citizens, and in terms of the better solved infrastructure
and communal problems throughout the municipality, • Improving TRANSPARENCY by achieving full transparency, accountability and control by the citizens, • Maximal participation of the citizens in decision-making on all important matters within the jurisdiction
of the municipal administration and the development of Tešanj. • A TRUE PARTNER TO THE ENTREPRENEURS AND THEIR ASSOCIATIONS: • by creating a supportive economic environment and conditions for the local economic development, • by the maximal involvement of the entrepreneurs in the planning and implementation of the development of Tešanj, • by provision of the fast, high quality and transparent service to the entrepreneurs and potential investors in its jurisdiction, • by providing support and assistance in pursuing their interests with the higher authority. • AN IMPORTANT FACTOR OF CIVIL SOCIETY: • by creating an ambient and conditions for the development of the civic initiatives and the work of the
non-governmental organizations, • by dealing with the problems of the youth and their maximal involvement in all aspects of the social life of Tešanj. In fulfilling its mission the municipal administration will, through its work and responsibility, represent
an example for all others. This implies a new value system in which: - THE COUNCILLORS IN THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL –
- will primarily be the representatives of the citizens who elected them and their interests, and in this sense to have
constant communication with them, - will have a constructive and tolerant approach in their work, - will be responsible and conscientious in their work, - will be self-initiative if it is necessary, - will be dedicated to the welfare of all citizens and realization the vision of the development of Tešanj. - ALL EMPLOYEES IN THE MUNICIPAL ADMINISTRATION:
- will be professional, efficient and responsible in the tasks they perform,
- will have good organizational capabilities, - will be precise, updated and systematic,
- will be self-initiative and creative, - will be communicative and open to cooperation, - will have enviable level of general culture,
- will be respected both from the superiors anf from the citizens, - motivated to work and the desire for professional training.
