THE VISION OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF TEŠANJ


A unique ecological and tourist oasis with the developed urban and rural entrepreneurship and infrastructure, modern schools and a rich cultural and sports life, open a communicationally bound within the municipality and the environment.

THE REALIZATION OF THIS VISION IS A PRIORITY, LONG-TERM AND JOINT TASK FOR THE MUNICIPAL ADMINISTRATION, ENTREPRENEURS, NGOs AND THE CITIZENS OF TEŠANJ.

THE  MISSION OF LOCAL ADMINISTRATION OF TEŠANJ

Accepting the driving and integrative role in achieving the vision of the development of Tešanj, the municipal administration will improve its work and resources so that it should be: PRIMARILY IN THE SERVICE OF THE CITIZENS, solving their problems and acceptance of their initiatives. This first of all, means

Improving EFFICIENCY, both in terms of faster, better, more available and cheaper services and more available with a decentralized organization and simplified procedures adapted to the citizens, and in terms of the better solved infrastructural and communal problems in the whole territory of the municipality,

Improving the TRANSPARENCY, achieving full transparency, accountability and control by the citizens,

Maximal PARTICIPATION of the citizens in decision-making on all important matters within

the jurisdiction of the municipal administration and the development of Tešanj;

A TRUE PARTNER TO THE ENTERPRENEUERS AND THEIR ASSOCIATIONS

• by creating a supportive economic environment and conditions for local economic development,

• by the maximal involvement of the entrepreneurs in the planning and implementation of the

development of Tešanj,

• by the provision of the fast, high quality and transparent services to the entrepreneurs and potential

investors in its jurisdiction,

• by providing support and assistance in pursuing their interests with the higher authorities;


AN IMPORTANT FACTOR OF THE CIVIL SOCIETY

• by creating an environment and conditions for the development of the civic initiatives and the work

of the non-governmental organizations,

• by dealing  with the problems of the youth and their maximal involvement in all aspects of the

social life of Tešanj.

In fulfilling its mission, the municipal administration will, through its work and responsibility, represent an example for all others. This implies a new value system in which:

- THE CONCILLORS IN THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL
- will primarily be the representatives of the citizens who elected them and their

interests, and in this sense to have constant communication with them,
- will have a constructive and tolerant approach in their work,
- will be responsible and conscientious in their work,
- will  be self-initiative if it is necessary,
- will have a  necessary level of education and general culture,
- will be dedicated to the welfare of all citizens and realizing the vision of development of Tešanj.

- THE MANAGERS IN THE MUNICIPAL ADMINISTRATION -
- will be professional, efficient and accountable for their work and for the work of

the subordinates;
- will have the good organizational skills,
- will be familiar with the informatics and the foreign languages,
- will have an enviable level of the general culture,
- will be apolitical in their work,
- will have the greater powers and responsibilities in the management,
- will be communicative and open to the cooperation with both the subordinates and

the other services.

- ALL EMPLOYEES IN THE MUNICIPAL ADMINISTRATION – will be
- educated and professional in the tasks they perform,
- precise, updated and systematic,
- disciplined and responsible,
- self-initiative and creative,
- communicative and helpful,
- respected by the superiors and the public,
- motivated to work and the desire for perfection.
